The Clementine Essential Wallet sewing pattern is quick to make with great features! There is a sizable back zipper pocket for your coins, 8 card slots and THREE additional pockets to help keep your cash, receipts and other essentials organized. The size of the wallet was designed to easily accommodate an iPhone 6S or Android phone. “Clemmie” is held together with super strong magnets ~ or, as an alternative, a magnetic snap set.
This is the perfect wallet to use some coveted cork fabric as it does not require much. While the pattern calls for Tough Duck (NOT to be confused with duck canvas), any non-fraying fabric can be used quite successfully. While an easy make with NO turning required, accuracy is key, as it is with most small projects, hence the 2-star rating. Due to the expediency of completing the wallet and the limited amount of materials required, this is a perfect pattern for anyone looking for a great seller for production work, art fairs or gifts.
As with all CloBird patterns, the instructions are full of color photographs and clear, detailed directions.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:
9″ wide x 4 1/2″ high
Materials:
18″ x 18″ exterior fabric, 600 Denier Tough Duck (or other non-fraying fabric such as cork or laminated cotton)
1 FQ lining fabric, 44″ 100% quilting cotton
9″x 2 1/2″ piece 12-gauge clear vinyl
1/2 yard fusible interfacing-stabilizer (Pellon Craft-Fuse 808 is recommended)
(1) 7″ #3 nylon zipper
(2) 3/8″ or 1/2″ diameter super strong magnets (look for neodymium or rare-earth magnets)
** an alternative to the rare-earth magnets would be one 14-18mm superslim magnetic snap set
